Avranches
The nearest big town to le Pommereu is Avranches, it is only 8 miles away. This town, one of the oldest in Normandy, has a selection of shops, restaurants, Banks, post office, chemists, and museums. The Jardin des plantes is also worth a visit. Market day is Saturday morning.


Ducey
A pretty town worth a brief visit, this town with limited shopping, a good pizza restaurant and bar.(6 miles from Le Pommereu)

Pontorson
The town mid way between Vergoncey and Mont St Michel is 6 miles away from the house. It offers general shopping and restaurants. Market day on Wednesday moning.


Saint James
A small town, only 4 miles from Le Pommereu, offering shopping, including the nearest supermarket. Market day is Monday.
